Blithfield – The Eden Collection

Blithfield recently launched the Eden collection at the brands showroom and flagship store, Number 13 and at George Spencer Designs, Chelsea Harbour.

Continually committed to small batch production and the preservation of traditional craftsmanship, the dynamic new collection features eight considered designs, including print, woven and embroidery, each in several colourways.

In a signature nuanced palette, this collection captures the mood of the moment, inspired by the brand’s extensive archive – a vast collection of documents, fragments and references, from antique to modern, carefully collected and preserved over 25+ years. Blithfield’s approach puts a considered, contemporary spin on historical references, creating an aesthetic which is simultaneously striking and enduring. The designs will effortlessly complement one another in a
scheme, or provide a single focal point for a space.

Well known for captivating prints, the Eden collection introduces five new motifs – Hana, Mifflin Stripe, Springfield, Camden and Portland – created using a mix of hand block printing and screen printing onto high quality natural linen ground cloth. These sit alongside a chenille weave, Webster and a textural rustic weave, Casper. The line up is completed with the collection namesake, Eden – a whimsical embroidered motif which arrives in three colourways.
