John Boyd Fabrics unveils new horsehair fabric designs

John Boyd Textiles will be unveiling their latest horsehair fabric designs at the Taste of Design Shows. The launch introduces a striking series of colourful stripes within its unequalled horsehair fabric collection and has been designed in collaboration with interior designer Kate Aslangul of Oakley Moore.

The new collection will be available to view throughout the shows, and can be found at the John Boyd Textiles stand.

Renowned for its heritage and craftsmanship, John Boyd Textiles has been weaving horsehair in Castle Cary since 1837, using original looms and traditional techniques from 1870. Each fabric is crafted with the finest horse tail hair combined with cotton or silk warps, delivering exceptional durability, natural fire resistance, and acoustic properties, qualities that continue to distinguish the brand in the global interiors market.

These beautifully crafted colour combinations are rich in detail and full of movement offering an effortless blend of tradition and modernity. The playful colour combinations mixed with the varied widths add a spontaneity and relaxed elegance to any interior perfect for layering or making a statement. With this latest collection, John Boyd Textiles reaffirms its reputation as the authority in horsehair weaving, balancing timeless tradition with a bold, modern edge.
